Following a gunpoint carjacking in the 47 Precinct, officers transmitted a citywide description. With assistance from Westchester County PD and Yonkers PD, multiple individuals were apprehended, a firearm was recovered, and the victim’s stolen vehicle was located.

Officers assigned to the Patrol Borough Bronx Neighborhood Safety Team recovered an illegal loaded firearm while on patrol in the 47th Precinct. Another illegal gun has been removed from our streets as we continue working to reduce gun violence and keep our community safe.

The 47th Precinct partnered with DSNY and Rotation Tow to address derelict and abandoned vehicles. The operation led to 35 vehicles tagged, 51 vehicles removed, and 52 summonses issued. Thank you to our partners for helping improve quality of life.

At the June 10, 2026 47th Precinct Community Council meeting, PO Signor was recognized as Cop of the Month for recovering a firearm following a successful canvass. Deputy Inspector Muhammad J. Ashraf and Special Operations supervisors were also in attendance.

Midnight Tour officers recovered a loaded firearm during a recent arrest, removing another dangerous weapon from our streets.

While out in the community, our Community Affairs Officer assisted an older adult safely across the street. He did not know the photo was being taken, but it captured a real moment of service, professionalism, and care for the people we serve.

Our Day Tour Q Team at the 47th Precinct assisted TED during a quality-of-life enforcement operation addressing roadway and community concerns, resulting in 169 summonses issued, 24 vehicles towed, and 12 RVs towed.
