When a 911 call was made about a male who menaced another with a firearm and fled on an MTA bus, your 79th Precinct patrol officers, alongside officers from @NYPDPSA3, located the bus, apprehended the perpetrator and discovered this loaded firearm.

NYPD Liaison Rabbi Yidel Leichtenstein and Rabbi Joel Friedman took some time to educate our officers about the Shavuot holiday which starts tonight. With a better understanding of the holiday, our officers will be out tonight ensuring everyone can safely celebrate without worry.

Our partners in @NYPDTransit Transit District 33 observed an individual enter a subway station in Bed-Stuy without paying their fare, arrested him and discovered he was in possession of an illegal loaded firearm.

Scammers are out on the prowl preying on the elderly wearing expensive jewelry.

These people strike up conversation and pretend to offer gifts while simultaneously stealing necklaces, watches, and other items.

If you’ve been a victim, call 911 to file a report.

Another thorough investigation, this time by the @NYPD90Pct Field Intelligence Team, resulted in the arrest of an individual found in possession of a large amount of controlled substances and other contraband.
