Yesterday, the @NYPDDetectives Animal Cruelty Squad and Warrant Squad arrested a 29-year-old Bronx man regarding this case of animal cruelty. Great job by all of our Detectives involved.

As we gathered on Long Island, honoring the life & service of Officer Jonathan Diller, One Times Square, New Tradition, & the Times Square Alliance recognized our fallen officer, & now Detective First Grade, in the heart of NYC, by memorializing him on their digital billboard.
After receiving 911 calls of a dog drowning in Baisley Pond, Officers Williams & Esposito from the @NYPD113Pct responded and entered the frigid water to rescue Sparky, an 8-year-old blind Border Collie. Thanks to the quick-thinking officers, Sparky and its owner were reunited
