Myself and my office are in direct contact with the precinct and Queens North, and will be following the situation closely as these officers work the case.
Additionally, NYPD is now on high alert and will have an increased presence through Sunday —
Attention District 19:
I have just been made aware of a murder in my district.
This evening the @MTAPD observed a group of 12 to 15 Hispanic men and women apparently fighting in Little Bay Park in Whitestone.
Thank you @PeiSzeCheng4NY for stopping by my office to discuss the tragic fatal stabbing that occurred last night at Little Bay Park in Whitestone. I appreciate the opportunity to address this serious matter and its impact on our community.
It was great to join John Torres and @rebeccawoodland on @NEWSMAX's National Report this morning with hosts ED Hill and @LidiaNews to discuss an array of issues involving immigration in both the US and in Europe, as well as Mayor Mamdani using the World Cup as cover for his pro-illegal immigrant agenda.
Give it a watch below, and thank you for having me on, @NEWSMAX!
It is unfathomable to me that any legislator would refuse to sign onto something like this, especially the Republicans in Congress who constantly preach their patriotic values whenever they have the pulpit.
This is something that should have 100% support. They passed a FIFA World Cup commemorative coin with no problem. There is no excuse for this holdup.
What’s that old saying about a broken clock?
Still, Richards is right and deserves credit.
We still need many more Council Members like @JoannAriola32 .
Bye Bye Bowman 👋
From his juvenile fire alarm antics to his vile anti-Semitism to his profanity-laced tirades to his support for open borders & defunding police, Jamaal Bowman has been an embarrassment to his party, his district & our state.
Good riddance.

Colonel Tom Sullivan Joins the Common Sense Party Line
Rockaway, June 25, 2024 — Colonel Tom Sullivan, an Army Reserve Veteran and small business owner, has successfully secured his spot on the Common Sense Party line for the upcoming November elections. This achievement marks a significant milestone in Sullivan's campaign as he prepares to challenge Democratic incumbent NYS Assemblywoman Stacey Pheffer Amato.
After weeks of dedicated petitioning, Sullivan’s campaign has officially secured his candidacy on the Common Sense Party line. This third party line provides an alternative for voters who support his vision but not necessarily the Republican Party.
“I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to everyone who helped make this come to fruition,” Sullivan said. “Your support and efforts in gathering signatures have been invaluable.”
In addition to the Common Sense Party, Sullivan has already secured the necessary signatures to appear on the Republican and Conservative Party lines. This diversified support strengthens his position as a formidable candidate in the November elections.
Sullivan’s campaign has garnered significant endorsements from prominent figures, including NYC Councilmembers Joann Ariola, Inna Vernikov, Bob Holden, Retired NYPD Chiefs Joe Fox, Joe Herbert, Joe Cunneen, Joseph Campbell, as well a Retired First Deputy Commissioner George Grasso.
Sullivan, who narrowly lost to Pheffer Amato in 2022 after a protracted legal battle over ballot counts, is determined to bring a fresh perspective and common-sense solutions to the Assembly. His candidacy was officially announced during a Rockaway Republican Club meeting in October 2023, and he has been actively campaigning since.

Such a common sense approach from @JoeLhota on how to fund the MTA capital plan. Here is his original op ed, with charts, which I am posting so @GovKathyHochul et al can see how our transit sales tax rates compare with other cities.
🎠 Don't forget! 🎠
The 100th Anniversary of the Forest Park Carousel & George Seuffert Sr. Bandshell is THIS SATURDAY, June 15!! We will have music, entertainment, and more - see the flyer below for more information, and I hope to see you there!
@RezaC1 Of course. Normal people growing up riding bicycles dream of getting their driver’s license and a car and not having to ride a bike everywhere.
On this Veterans Day, I reflect on 30 years of service, standing with fellow Americans of all walks of life. Our veterans have bravely defended liberty and freedom. Let us always honor, protect, and celebrate their unwavering commitment to our nation.
