The NYS Library’s Manuscripts unit has in its collections two items related to Jimmy Carter’s election and inauguration.
The first is a 1976 Presidential Election Handbook (324.973 qN714 99-16463).
The second is the 1977 Inaugural Guide to Washington (973.923 qW319 77-25723).
The NYS Library remembers the 39th President of the United States, Jimmy Carter (1924-2024). Known for his integrity, humility, and lifelong commitment to service, Carter’s work touched countless lives.
