@ColSafc86 @theseoldcars Not so, owned an M100 for 18 months, probably the best fwd car where corners are a thing, and less likely to fall off into the scenery that my Elise which I’ve owned for 10 years so far. The Elise is quicker in a straight line and around corners

@Only9built The Beetle, without it the German car industry would be no where. While the Mini defined the pattern for every fwd car since, Austin/Morris/Leyland/BL etc made no money on them (but did make a loss on them despite 4million+ sales)

Got a bit carried away in the 80s, full Dallara Gp 5 body kit, Lancia 2000 twin cam running twin 45s, 285/40x15 rear tyres on 11.5” wide rims. Normal shit really 😵‍💫🫣

@Only9built Nooooo, hasn’t moved u dear its own steam in 30 years 😢 there was a plan to restore it a couple of years ago and it was transported to a garage but word was not so economical to repair. Need my son to learn welding as he quite fancies the car

@KwikFitCS Been fortunate to own quite a few, I’ve counted 14 and not sure if I’ve missed any 🤔 First was a Triumph Stag when I was 19, think the last one I remember buying was a Tigra with the folding hard top. Sold that years ago but have owned my Elise for 10 years and counting 😎

@Only9built Much easier than the full MRI, we’re going to encapsulate your head in a box and sorry, it fits so tight you can’t wear headphones while we play your choice of music. Absolutely worst hour of my life - pitch black darkness, no sense of time other than constantly counting & NOISE
