The NYS Sup. Ct Officers Assoc. consists of uniformed officers in the courts throughout the five boroughs of New York City as well as the 9th Judicial District.
Joined by numerous members, court employees and friends this afternoon, SCOA was on hand to bid farewell to Major Bryan Negron who retired after 37 years of service. His support and friendship to our Union will never be forgotten. Good luck in your retirement Major!
This afternoon Court employees gathered at Manhattan Supreme Court for a historic event as after an unparalleled 62 year career, Major Gerard Fennell walked out of 60 Centre Street for the last time. Thanks to all who attended this tribute.
This afternoon 15 SCOA members were recognized by the Unified Court System for lifesaving measures taken in four separate incidents. The event presided over by Hon. Amaker, Hon. St. George and Hon. Minihan honored these brave and dedicated Officers for their heroic actions.
Last evening, SCOA President Patrick Cullen received the Labor Press 2023 Labor Leadership Awards honoring law enforcement. Many thanks to the delegates both active and retired who attended. We are also very appreciative of the support from our community of benefit providers.
