@PotatoMcWhiskey A state ID (valid for voting) costs btn $15 to $35, is valid for 4 - 8 yrs, and only requires 1 visit to the DMV. It is not some great burden. I have voted in NY - no id check. I have voted in FL where they do check id. Without ID check, very easy to commit voter fraud.
