I have tested over 25 products so far. I'm more than $3000 in the red and have spent over 500 hours working since my last win (which is not a lot for the time that has passed). God has given me an unbreakable spirit and I have to use it. He didn't give me this goal for no reason.
Meta is such a fucking money burn bro. Why would you spend an additional $40-50 over my $100 budget when you are seeing that you made 2 sales with 50 and you can't with the next 50. I should have turned the campaign off yesterday. This is some fucking bullshit
I think what I did by dumping all the $100 budget into 1 single ad is like tripling the budget on an existing campaign. That ad can perform at $50 but no one said it can at $100+. What I did is similar to surf scaling with no signal to do so. I am so fucking dumb
Yesterday went to shit. This one ad I was running made 2 sales profitably with the first $50 and then it went ahead and spent $110 in total in no additional sale. I decided to turn back on 2 ads and I woke up to $140 spent for the rest of the meta day again with no more sales.
Okay yesterday went to shit. This single ad I was running made 2 sales profitably with the first $50 spent and then it went ahead and spent $110 in total in no additional sale. I woke up to $140 spent for the rest of the meta day again with no more sales. My budget is $100🙃
Yesterday was profitable. I have made 3 sales total with the only creative I have turned on and it has a very high roas. Today I will still leave it on alone and let it spend the whole budget. If it's profitable I will try bumping it for tomorrow🫣
I decided to give this product one more shot by running it in NZ only with the same 10 creatives but I turned off 9 of them later because I was very close to cutting it and I it had wasted a bunch of spend. So I decided to try dumping it all into 1 with the highest spend.
I was thinking in my head "Okay I'm cutting this product" and the moment I thought about this my phone vibrated and I got a sale for $80 which put me in the green for the day or close to BE. God is great🙏
Running in the top 5 was kind of a mistake even though I learned from it. It has wasted a lot of the budget on countries with shit CPC. But I have noticed that New Zealand has the best CPC and got add to carts so I will try running it a 3rd time NZ only
I straight up ripped from a comp running only in the US because that's what my top 5 comp had done and I thought it might work for me if I find creatives he hasn't ripped. Sounds stupid but wanted to give it a shot
Cut my latest prod. I tried running a prod from last year but to the big 5. First I tested with custom creatives by copying comp and for the second try I just ripped from a US competitor. Got a few add to carts but no sales (probably missed some cause of the bot mistake)
I've been testing a prod in the big 5 countries and I see that I have 3 reached checkouts but none converted and realized that my store is set up for US market only so they were unable to purchase. Such a fucking bot mistake bro😭😭🤖
ran out of credits on the shared claude in luxury tools and I have a few more ads to make. I wanted to launch a product tomorrow. Hopefully they fix it soon. It's sucks to be dependent on this shit😭
A few things I learned from this prod test:
- Always check comments on ads cause there may be negative ones lowering ctr
- Make a big base discount. When people chose option 1 the cart would say they are saving $5 which does create urgency or a feel the offer is the best
Okay i actually let my product run a bit more and it made 1-2 more sales but I cut it today. I tried improving the store a bit like the offer but the top spending ad with the highest roas had $7 cpc. Just gonna move on
@Jordan_Ecomm How many products have you tested so far since you started over and what's your strategy rn for product research and ad testing structure?
Day 3 - $17 spent to get 1 click on the ad that got the most amount of conversions. I don't see any sort of improvement after day 1 and even though I got purchases and high add to carts I'm cutting.
Day 2 of the new test - 1 sale and all the metrics got worse. I thought it might just be testing different audiences and it needs more spend. Every test is just so random🤷♂️
