BREAKING: Iran is moving to force Google, Meta, Microsoft and Amazon to obtain passage permits, undergo technical inspections and pay sovereignty fees for the undersea internet cables running through its territorial waters in the Strait of Hormuz, per Tasnim.

At least two major cable systems, FALCON and Gulf Bridge International, run directly through Iranian territorial waters in the Strait. Iran says their physical placement on Iran's seabed creates a legal basis to apply its own regulations, requiring the owning companies to meet environmental and seabed monitoring standards and to pay for Iranian supervisory services.

More than 99% of international data traffic travels through undersea cables.

The move comes as Iran said yesterday that if the war restarts, the region's undersea cables, data centers and AI facilities "will be destroyed," putting their total value at more than $2 trillion.

⭕️ Netanyahu on Sunday demanded a criminal investigation into the soldiers who testified in "NAZA," the Venice-winning documentary that shows how Israel carried out mass murder in Gaza using AI-powered targeting.

In a letter to the attorney general, the military chief of staff and the head of the Shin Bet, Netanyahu asked them to identify everyone who took part and pursue charges of information security offenses, criminal defamation and harming Israel's diplomatic and security interests. He called the film a "false, misleading, and programmatic libel."

The film, directed by Yuval Abraham and Rachel Szor, features 24 masked interviewees, mainly from intelligence units, according to the filmmakers. They describe "mass killing on an industrial scale" and say the military permitted strikes expected to kill as many as 500 civilians. It won the special jury prize at Venice and is screening in more than 50 countries, but not in Israel.

We user pays their education driving them off shore and then we penalise them for fleeing the debt trap we created for them.

This Government gerrymandered the election enrolment time to rig the election SPECIFICALLY to punish young voters.
