אנחנו מחדשים. בתקווה שתעמדו בקצב. רק לפני חודש הצענו לכם לחשב את ממוצע המנדטים של המדד בהתאמה אישית. השבוע אנחנו מעלים לאתר רכיב חדש, בניסיון להרחיב את המבט מעבר למה שרואים בסקרים: מודל תחזית הבחירות של המדד. העבודה על הרכיב הזה א��כה חודשים רבים, ועוד לא הסתיימה. מה שאנחנו מציגים כעת הוא מודל ״בטא״ ניסיוני. מודל בהרצה. עוד יהיו שינויים ועדכונים, שנדווח עליהם בהמשך. אבל – החלטנו שאפשר כבר להציג תוצאה. המודל הסטטיסטי של המדד מציג התפלגות גושית של תוצאות אפשריות של הבחירות הבאות בישראל.

Are you a country worried about starvation in Gaza and want to help? Then this is an idea for you: For a limited time only, offer #hamas a rockets-for-food exchange. Instead of launching rockets at Israel, let Hamas trade in its rockets for food. Surely feeding a starving population is more urgent than firing rockets at Israel, so i'm sure Hamas and other armed Palestinian groups would just jump for such an opportunity to help the people of Gaza.

@jonstewart's solution for Israel-Palestine last night on @TheDailyShow was naive and at the same time far more pro-Israel than Stewart probably appreciates. He basically calls for Palestinians to surrender. As an Israeli, I think Israel should accept the plan. Stewart's treatment of Palestinians as weak powerless victims unable to have any control of their lives in need of an external power to rule over them is out of sync with the Palestinian street in Gaza. Palestinians in Gaza still believe they are actually winning this war, as they believe they have won all the previous wars with Israel during the last 15 years.
As long as Palestinians want 1) Israel not to exist and 2) to return to the homes that their great grandparents fled 75 years ago in what is today Israel, more than they want to have their own state (next to Israel), no #METO force is going to be able to control Palestine without crushing the Palestinian dream which is at the heart of Hamas's ideology and driving their popularity. So, I'm with you @jonstewart, but i don't think too many Palestinians in Gaza would agree to surrender, which is essentially what your plan is calling for.
