@TheBardOfAnlaby I miss the underground.
The excitement of knowing that when you get off the train, you'd walk into the buzz of the greatest city in the world.
@csljohnkirby@studaviesreform Talking bollocks John !
The support for reform and Nigel Farage in Clacton is high.
The last MP for the area was conservative and Nigel has had a much bigger presence over the last few years
@TheBardOfAnlaby I hated Maggie for years, as she took the milk away from us kids at school..
But, I heard alot of her quotes recently and in all honesty, she was ahead of her time. If she was in power now we would not be as fucked
@DanNeidle Hi Dan, I enjoy reading alot of your tweets, but tax in hospitality is very aggressive compared to other industries.
Closing down high streets is damaging.
Lge firms should be excluded from support, especially ones with overseas headquarters and large Franchises.
@RupertLowe10@linda_paget Coffee shops are more than just businesses helping local economies and employment.
The impacts we have on our Communities social life and mental health is unbelievable.
We might be the only face that some people see in a day
@JRH1865@bigjonesy1@zatzi Large businesses have the power and tools to hire the best , so that they pay less taxes per sale etc.
Such as greggs dont pay tax on their sausage rolls..
Starbucks dont pay capital tax as they send the money abroad and so on
