I have been farming for 6 years and would never bet on anything that nature has a hand in. I am that cynical or conservative - me way na scenerio planning , margin of safety and sensitivity analysis na him full my books- in fact I dey use BCG Portfolio to decide on products π.
Video update on our half plot of ginger ππ±
For those just seeing this, I made a β¦5,000,000 bet with a habanero farmer that my half plot of ginger will outperform his 1 acre of habanero pepper within 7 months.
Yes, you read that right π
A lot of people think Iβm crazy for even making that bet.
Because on paper, it sounds ridiculous:
Half plot vs 1 acre
Ginger vs Habanero
β¦5m on the line
But if you understand the ginger business, youβll know why Iβm this confident.
So far, everything is coming together nicely on the ginger side⦠but we still have a long way to go.
At the end of this bet, one of us will look like a genius and the other one will look like a motivational speaker π
If you were putting your own money on it right nowβ¦
who are you backing: 1/2 plot of Ginger or 1 acre of Habanero? π
To think i have known this leaf as mosquito repellant since i was in primary 2 but i dont know its name as Oregano
Sure i have been hearing oregano but i never know its the leaf i am conversant with
Its a powerful mosquito repellant
Lol. Tomatoes will be permanently expensive once the Northern subsidy which pauses annually around May to October is gone forever . Apparently, cheap tomatoes is more important than the mere feeling of under employed, online people.
π morning routine as a Farmer.
The harvest may not always be perfect, but every harvest is proof that the work was worth it.

Truly, I pity the lactose intolerant. Cheese is obviously one of the greatest foods around. But yoghurt is also delicious. Cream and milk are wonderful. Cream cheese is brilliant (that Boursin with black pepper spread on a fresh baguette!) Frankly, I even enjoy cottage cheese. We should be grateful in Britain that we have such a bounty of such dairy produce. If we were French or Italian, we would celebrate it and protect it. And more power to them for that!
