The city of Dallas plans to cut off and reroute the Jefferson St. Bridge. And! It could happen in a matter of days. They plan to force-feed Oak Cliff residents a ruinous road diet of stops & turns, destroying our thoroughfare into and out of downtown. Hell-to-the-NO!

DALLAS CITY COUNCIL MEMBER CALLS IT CRAZY
The City’s confusing plan to reroute traffic on the Oak Cliff Bridges has just gotten worse. Now City Council Members are speaking out, one even calling the plan, “crazy”.

Dallas City Staff continues to waffle and confuse Oak Cliff residents over plans to reroute traffic on two vital bridges across the Trinity. It’s all because the new convention center was mysteriously moved into to the Jefferson Bridge’s path. Now access to and the vitality of our North Oak Cliff/Bishop Arts Community is being threatened.
