The City of Oakdale will receive $3.75 million for a pedestrian bridge over I-694 along 40th Street N as part of a bonding bill passed by the Minnesota Legislature at the end of the 2026 Legislative Session. This bridge will address safety concerns while greatly improving connectivity between adjacent neighborhoods through better access to jobs, retail areas and recreational amenities.
REMINDER: Police and Public Works will be relocating next week to different facilities. Here are the important dates to remember:

City services housed in the current City Hall facility (1584 Hadley Avenue N) will relocate to other City facilities in May. Police lobby services will move to Fire Station 2 (6633 15th Street N) and in-person City Hall services will move to the new Public Works facility (3200 Granada Avenue N).
