Nigeria’s ‘premier universities’ can’t provide LIGHT, WATER, or TRANSPORT but will increase school fees without blinking.

The University of Ibadan students are writing tests in darkness.

Obafemi Awolowo University students fought transport issues weeks ago.

Now UI students are protesting peacefully.

We just hope their voices won’t be silenced like OAU.

There’s no form of academic activity on OAU campus, people have gone home and there’s scarcity of buses.😂

One Wednesday, a student was hungry and decided to eat. All she did wrong was to step out of her hostel to buy food to eat.
Minutes turned to hours, and she didn't come back.

Her friends got worried and decided to call her number, but it was switched off.
10 months later, her phone has remained switched off, and unfound.

There have been no meaningful updates, no clear answers, and the noise around her disappearance has faded like it never happened. We do not know where she is. We do not know what happened, and we do not even know whether she is alive or not.

Her name was Dorcas, the only child of her parents and she could have been anybody.
