you don’t get to spend your days doing whatever feels easiest and then act personally offended when your life reflects it. there’s a consequence to the way you spend your time. eventually, the life you’ve been imagining has to compete with the life you’ve actually been creating. the world doesn’t owe you a better outcome because you had good intentions. but here’s the beautiful thing about that: you can change what you’re creating at any moment. you can start making different choices today and give yourself an entirely different future to look forward to.
hobbies. was regaling someone yesterday about my stamp collection, something I started in form 1, thanks to my dad introducing me to Philately. current collection isn't a reflection of the long years. lost tonnes, recouped, started again. current collection is a pitiful sight but thrilled I used to have them.
