Why is Arsenal not considering this gem?
Abde Ezzalzouli, a younger Trossard with the IQ of Kvaratskhelia- A like for like Replacement for Trossard
If Arsenal are looking for a cheaper replacement for Trossard, then Abde Ezzalzouli should be right at the top of the list.
Every time I watch him, I see a winger who actually understands the final third. He doesn't just run into defenders for highlight reels. He knows when to shoot, when to square the ball, when to slow things down and when to attack the box. That level of decision-making is rare.
What impresses me most is his end product. Goals, assists, dangerous crosses, ball carrying, he brings all of it. And unlike many modern wingers, he is comfortable on both feet, which makes him incredibly unpredictable for defenders.
The best way I can describe him? A younger Trossard with Kvaratskhelia's football IQ. That's a dangerous combination.
Yet because he isn't the trendy £80m name that everyone talks about, a lot of fans would turn their noses up at him. Arsenal supporters need to stop confusing expensive with better. Sometimes the smartest signing is the one that gives you 90% of the quality for 30% of the price.
If Arsenal miss out on the big names, I genuinely wouldn't be disappointed if Abde was the player walking through the door. I think a lot of people are sleeping on just how good he is.
