They made this choice because certain wallets they have access to started selling after block 81k ish. They restarted it at 81k then so they could sell all the coins on the old wallet

Looks like the Doginals community came together and got the job done.

A collaborative effort between @verydogelabs, @OrdiFind, @doggy_market, @doginalhub, and @ordinalswallet to upgrade the Ord client.

Upgrades
◆ DRC20 and Dunes merged into Doge Ord client (On Bitcoin they are all separate protocols)
◆ Addition of "Delegation" and merge of recursion
◆ UTXO service improvements
◆ Open source of Ord client

With this upgrade it should make a more simple process for exchanges to list $DOGI and as well as giving builders some tooling develop with.
