Over the next few months, I plan to become a cracked (tech context) Data Engineer. The goal is to develop not just a strong theoretical framework of how and why, but to also have a solid grasp of the modern data engineering stack.

I would do and iterate through the boring stuff until it becomes interesting as a direct consequence of clarity.

I already know that this would in no way be an easy task. But against the prevailing odds and the allure of skipping process using LLMs, against having to fend for myself while putting in the long hours, I would stay with it till it makes sense..
