@BrumWorker Bit of cutting-edge journalism there lads. Give us a shout when you get a statically significant portion of vote share to have an impact. Until then, you Keep chucking your non-existent weight around.
Some things the British media and political class have reacted hysterically to during Israel's genocide:
- The Maccabi Tel Aviv fan ban
- Bob Vylan
- Gary Lineker
- The Green Party motion
Something they have not reacted hysterically to:
- The genocide
Blinne Ni Ghralaigh at the ICJ in Jan 2024: "The first genocide in history where its victims are broadcasting their own destruction in real time in the desperate.. hope the world might do something."
Almost 3yrs later & the genocide is still ongoing
One from the archives.
"You think even Jews... who are arch critics of Israel and zionism, you don't want them in the Labour Party anymore?"
Margaret Hodge: if they feel uncomfortable, Labour isn't the party for them.
@SkyNews "Is it representative of your impartiality to consistently call Israel an apartheid state?"
"Its representative of the facts"
".. so you're.. saying Israel is a racist state?"
"Yes"
The head of Amnesty is clear. Israel is an apartheid state
This underlines the madness of British political discourse.
The Israeli state is boasting about the ethnic cleansing of southern Lebanon.
But the outrage here is all about the Green Party passing a motion describing Israel's official ideology as racism.
Never fucking tell me again that Channel 4 News is the UK's impartial Broadcaster. If it were, they would tell you that this Genocidal fuck has kids serving in the Israeli army, blowing up babies for kicks, & has fuck all authority on what Humanity is, let alone anti racism.
@Channel4News The default position of most Zionists. He doesn’t represent all Jews and his son is IDF. Note that he’s conflating Zionism with Judaism which is per the IHRA antisemitism. Many Jews take issue with how this guy is constantly rolled out to misrepresent them. Zionism is racism
It seems unlikely that a BBC editor who e.g. made a film that “accidentally” accused Tory staff of screaming “Hitler was right” at colleagues and later quietly clarified this wasn’t correct, in an election year, would ever work in current affairs again.
