The Region 8 Championship from Ulmer Stadium featured a rematch of the District 29 Championship (and the 3rd time South Oldham and Oldham County faced each other this season). OC took the regular season matchup, while South earned their revenge in the District 29 Championship. In the rubber match, the Colonels took the early lead and held off the Dragon comeback for an exciting 8-4 victory. OC's Annabelle Brisco got the Win pitching 6 strong innings giving up 4 runs on 6 hits. She also led the offense going 3/3 with a pair of doubles while Bekah Townsend was 2/3 with 2 rbi's. South was led by Grace Turner's 2/3, 2 rbi effort. Oldham County advances to the State Tournament. South Oldham's excellent season ends at 22-12. @OCHSSoftball@sohssoftball@OldhamcoSports@SOHSDragons@THEOZONE7@TheSOHSLair@OCBoosters@SohsBoosters
