During the Jonathan era, El Rufai was practically untouchable or so it seemed. This man threatened Jonathan, a sitting President and Commander in Chief.

El Rufai actively and openly sabotaged the Goodluck Jonathan administration, saying Nigeria would burn if anything happened to him. He committed several treasonous acts and behaved like his ethnic group literally owned Nigeria.

El Rufai held meetings within and outside Nigeria to oust President Goodluck Jonathan who couldn't do anything but wail in return.

He saw a weakling in President Goodluck and made a meal off him.

Under President Tinubu, El Rufai has been locked up for months and his family and kinsmen are now begging the President for his release. Compared to Jonathan, he didn't really do much against Tinubu.

Why hasn't Nigeria burnt down to the ground?
