🦈 WHITE SHARK BELLA CHECKS IN OFF LONG ISLAND, NY
Juvenile female white shark Bella measured 10 ft. 2 in. and weighed an estimated 729 lbs at the time of tagging. Her latest ping (June 3) placed her ~13 miles off Westhampton Beach, New York.

🦈 White shark Nori has returned to Atlantic Canada nearly 4,000 miles later
After spending the winter off the Carolinas, Nori’s latest ping placed her back near the same area of Nova Scotia where she was originally tagged in Oct. 2025.
Her return is helping researchers better understand how white sharks navigate and revisit important seasonal habitats year after year.
