Carrick (2026) - Living off Amorin's groundwork
We can tell. 1 win in 6, can't manage games in the moment, lacklustre going forward, pedestrian at the back, no running and no energy. Only difference is he's not calling people out now. We love Carrick but he'll be gone by the next break at this rate
I'll say this as a United fan, I prefer the vibes and nostalgia Ole to the absolute train wreck we have been since. Ole managed 3rd, 2nd, 3rd, an unbeaten away league record, and a European final that we should have won if only De Gea realised he was allowed to use his arms in the shootout.
Had Ole been properly backed, and the right players been brought in and toxic ones moved on, who knows what may have happened.
I'll appreciate Amorin for the Lyon match (which should never have got to that point), but his Europa League final defeat was inexcusable, and he couldn't win for love nor money. 16th placed finish was a disgrace
@MemoryCardFiles Genuinely one of the 360/PS3 eras most underrated games. Told a great story, had a great atmoshpere and fun gameplay. Jackie Estacado was a great main character, the loading screens where he told little stories were a nice touch
I was expecting to see this when you got round to this one. Coming into this game after the first 3, you can really see the drop off in multiple areas. Still plays well, but there's a lot of Gears core missing. Plus, no one likes fighting robot enemies. The Dee Bees were a horrible addition
The point at 0:27 for me is one my favourite points of all time. I love the power and intensity, but you also see the cleverness of Rafa here. Thiem is barraging him with absolute bombs here. If Thiem changes direction, he probably wins the point and breaks. But Rafa senses this, and after withstanding a flurry of thunderstrikes, does exactly that to Thiem when he gets a slightly less powerful shot. Forces Thiem who is in a rhythm to move, unbalancing said rhythm and regaining control of the rally and allows Rafa to ultimately dictate and win the point.
The IQ @RafaelNadal had on court was nothing short of elite, and that point shows it off so well under intense pressure for me
