St. Ignatius of Antioch was an early second century bishop and martyr known for the letters he wrote while traveling to his death, encouraging the faithful not to prevent his martyrdom in Rome. St. Ignatius of Antioch, pray for us!

St. Teresa was a 16th century Spanish mystic and reformer whose spiritual writings describe the ascent of the soul through contemplation to union with God. She was the first woman ever to be named a Doctor of the Church. St. Teresa, pray for us!

Today we joyfully celebrate the first feast day of Saint Carlo Acutis (1991–2006), the millennial teen whose short life was defined by his deep love for the Eucharist.

Known as the “good pope,” Pope St. John XXIII is remembered for working to bring the Church’s message of God’s love to the people of the world through ecumenism, political dialogue and an emphasis on human rights. He is known for convening the Second Vatican Council.

Known as the "Little Flower," St. Thérèse was a 19th century Carmelite nun who died at only 24. Despite her relatively uneventful life, St. Thérèse has had a tremendous influence on the Church through her teaching of the "little way" as a path to sanctity accessible to all.

A patron of librarians, scholars and translators, St. Jerome was an ascetic fourth century scripture scholar famous for his work on the definitive Vulgate translation of the Bible. St. Jerome, pray for us!

The three Archangels honored by today’s feast are Michael, the Prince of the Heavenly Hosts, Gabriel, who heralded Christ’s coming to Mary at the Annunciation, and Raphael who guided Tobiah in the Book of Tobit. Saints Michael, Gabriel and Raphael, pray for us!
