J. Cole explains how Mark Pitts protected him from the dark side of the music industry. Host: “ You know, Cole, I’ve heard you in the past describe people in your life as… uh… vessels. God talking to you. And in what ways does Mark specifically feel like… like that void or… that voice rather… like…” J. Cole: “ Man, he was like… he was protection, guidance, like a steward. You know what I mean? Like… like a… like a blocker. Like in football, like the fullback for the running back. You know what I mean? He was like the… I’mma get there before you. I’mma clear things out, and then it’s almost like the fullback could turn around and be like, ‘Go right, or hit this hole right here.’ It’s like he was helping me as much as he could to get out of my own way and to allow the world to like give me space to even find out who I was.”

MY DAD JUST MOVED TO NEWARK, NEW JERSEY, AND HE KEEPS COMPLAINING ABOUT HOW EXPENSIVE RENT IS. He genuinely wants to understand how people afford rent, groceries, a car, and other bills without their entire paycheck disappearing. Americans who live there, how do you guys manage? Is it really this expensive everywhere, or is Newark a different story?

Sabrina Treffiletti says losing access to her daughters left her unable to eat, think, or get out of bed after surviving an abusive marriage. Geoff Goddard: “What, what’s the feeling when you realized like this, this was your life and this was going to be happening, you were no longer having access to your daughters?” Sabrina Treffiletti: “Devastated. It’s just, it’s like a, it’s a grief with no funeral. That’s how I explain it. Because your children are still alive, and you know, you don’t know the next time you’re going to speak to them. You don’t know. This has no endpoint.”

Erika Kirk reveals the words no mother is ever prepared to hear from her child after losing her husband. Erika Kirk opens up about the heartbreaking reality of raising her children without their father, Charlie Kirk. She reveals that her daughter once told her, “I just want to go to heaven and see Daddy tomorrow. Can we go together?” Erika explains how moments like these challenge her as a mother, but her faith helps her keep moving forward. She says her children have taught her to live in the present, trust God, and hold on to the hope of being reunited with loved ones in heaven. She also shares a perspective that helps her cope with grief: while those left on earth long for their loved ones, those in heaven may be looking forward to the day they reunite. For Erika, grief and joy can exist together, and faith gives her the strength to keep going.

Microsoft is offering voluntary buyouts to around 60,000 employees as it continues investing heavily in AI. The offer reportedly covers teams working across Copilot, Windows, Xbox, finance, and other divisions. The interesting part is the timing. While tech companies race to build more powerful AI, workers are increasingly questioning what that means for their future. Is AI creating more opportunities than it’s taking away, or are we only beginning to see the real cost of this race?

Jason Momoa says fans don't always realize they're interrupting precious time with his family when they ask for photos. Host: “How do you feel about that whole ‘Can I get a picture? Can I get a picture?’ Because you’re a very recognizable man. You’re never going to go unnoticed.” Jason Momoa: “Generally, people are excited, and that’s awesome. I get excited when I see people that I really like, too.” “I’m with someone I haven’t seen forever. I’m with my kids right now. I don’t get to see my kids that much. If you pull my attention, I’m like, ‘I’m sorry, no. This is not the right time.’” “Most of the time, I look like an asshole.” “I still want to be hanging out with everyone. Of course. And then it just turns into fucking circuses in town.” “That’s what comes with the fucking job. They’re not wrong, and I’m not… I try not to look like an asshole, but you can’t please everyone.”
