People are upset about the World Cup because instead of bringing the world together it’s another reminder of how unjust the world is.
It’s not a conspiracy. A Somali referee was denied entry to the U.S., that’s a fact. The U.S. tried to swap Iran for Italy, and then mistreated the team, that’s a fact. The U.S. president made a call to reverse a red card for an American player, that’s a fact…
From discrimination and over-priced tickets, to commercial breaks and VAR issues, many people who have watched and enjoyed the World Cup since childhood are more than disappointed. The whole tournament was tainted from the beginning, starting with a fake peace prize to gratify the host country.
🇵🇸 Jeremy Scahill says Donald Trump is not an aberration but “an extroverted representation of the most extreme and violent strands” of U.S. imperialism, arguing the current moment reflects the “dismantling of American mythologies” rather than a break with the past.
Speaking at the Global Decolonization Forum in Istanbul, Scahill said Barack Obama was the “chief normalizer” who bridged the post-9/11 “world is a battlefield” doctrine with the present.
On Gaza, Scahill said Israel’s push for Palestinian disarmament is an attempt to achieve “what they couldn’t achieve on the battlefield” - a “total surrender of the Palestinian liberation cause.”
“Their bombs, their technology… cannot compel that surrender,” he stated.
They'll cheer a film about a vigilante cleaning up the people at the bottom. So I made the same film and aimed it at the top, the ones who start the wars, empty the countries, and ship the fallout to your doorstep. One small edit. Suddenly it's 'forbidden'. Tells you everything.
Palestinians can't enjoy the World Cup, because when they gather together, Israel bombs them.
Then their murder will be sanitized with headlines like this⤵️ from the @NYTimes.
Beautiful footage in our film - “Comfortably Numb Re-Imagined” shot by Suheil Nassar.
This film honors the everyday humanity of Palestinians- the smiles, families, and ordinary moments that remind us these are real people living through extraordinary circumstances 🇵🇸

Then why didn’t they simply just develop a nuclear weapon? Because the ability to enrich up to 65%+ without actually developing a nuclear weapon was their strategy & why all of the IC consistently assessed that Iran wasn’t developing a nuclear weapon.
Capability doesn’t equal intent.
Ms Rachel: “It’s normal to be horrified by genocide and not want your tax dollars going towards killing kids”
It’s crazy that this has to be said because there are still people who don’t agree.
israël is the only country in the world that practiced The "Breaking Bones Policy" as a military directive using hammers instead of bullets against 1555 Palestinian kids in 1988 !
47 years after its original release, Roger Waters and Palestinian musician Mona Miari have reimagined Pink Floyd’s “Comfortably Numb,” adding new Arabic verses that transform the classic into a powerful message of solidarity and resistance.
FREE PALESTINE✊🏼🇵🇸
Israel flattened Beirut in 1982.
No Hamas. No Hezbollah. No October 7 to point to then.
Just 17,000 dead Lebanese and Palestinian civilians.
Even US president then Ronald Reagan, who armed Israel, called Begin furious after seeing a photo of a 7-month-old baby with its arms blown off and said “It is a holocaust”.
They killed so many innocent people that the survivors had no choice but to pick up weapons.
Then Israel had the audacity to keep using “Self-Defense” excuse every decade.
Israel didn’t stumble into endless war. Israel built it. Brick by brick.
Own it.
"Israelis sniped a 4 year old child, and then wait for the grief striken parents to come, and murder them too. They are demonic."
