The Celtic players doing a guard of honour for the Hearts squad and staff as we lift the trophy at Celtic Park - while just over 59,000 fans rush for the exists - will be one of the greatest moments in Scottish football history.
No matter the form of protest, every single time it’s deemed “not the right way to do it”
Whether that’s from those employeed at the club or pundits or journalists. What they really mean is “please stop making a fuss”
Fuck every single one of them.
@EireGoBrachCSC@BhoyCeltic88@TheNotoriousCSC Maybe because he managed in England where the market for players is massively inflated so there isn’t much ‘bargains’ available like the Japanese bhoys. Moussa Dembele may have been identified by Rodgers, from the same league he was in and signed in his first window at Celtic
@EireGoBrachCSC@BhoyCeltic88@TheNotoriousCSC Yes no has one said they weren’t. Except for the Japanese bhoys who were clearly identified by Ange during his spell in Japan and he made clear he wanted them. That leaves 3 players you have identified as successful out of how many signings? The success rate is very low.
@EireGoBrachCSC@BhoyCeltic88@TheNotoriousCSC Yes he does approve the signings but it’s up to the recruitment team to provide the potential signings and pros/cons for Rodgers to look at before approving them as you said Rodgers cares about his reputation so he doesn’t sign players unless they are being presented as quality.
@EireGoBrachCSC@BhoyCeltic88@TheNotoriousCSC Signings aren’t solely the responsibility of the manager that’s why modern clubs have recruitment teams. Instead of constantly blaming Rodgers share the blame with the recruitment team who get paid to identify and make signings
@EireGoBrachCSC@BhoyCeltic88@TheNotoriousCSC It is to win in Scotland which we done last season but not to compete in Europe and build on last season while loosing key players that need replaced
@EireGoBrachCSC@BhoyCeltic88@TheNotoriousCSC Managers at modern clubs aren’t solely responsible for signings that’s why clubs have recruitment teams, clearly ours isn’t fit for purpose.
@EireGoBrachCSC@BhoyCeltic88@TheNotoriousCSC The money spent on Idah was made back in that window by selling others. It was sanctioned purely based on his loan which is justified. Idah was bought as a replacement for Giakoumakis not Kyogo. The point is Celtic don’t spend enough to improve in modern football.
@EireGoBrachCSC@BhoyCeltic88@TheNotoriousCSC When you work it out the net spend was no where near 36 million. We sold Kyogo in January and still haven’t replaced him with a striker at a similar level. Sold Kuhn weeks ago and there’s not even a concrete rumour for a replacement yet. That’s before we even strengthen the team
