@berriebombz Always has been I think😔, I remember looking her up as a kid for cosplay and her wiki said: "Note that Miku is wearing long socks and loafers *NOT* thigh high boots ". Seems like someone was tired of people making the mistake lol.
@NayfanStinks Not American either, but sometimes the things you have to bring for a single school day are so heavy it's a relief not to have to break you back lugging them around all day — you can also leave books you only use in class there.
@Abhikuloor@beausecurity@kirawontmiss Some say it's because it's hard to say no publicly, & if they break up the event is forever a reminder of their ex, like how they say to take some pictures of big events alone, in case you have a fallout w/ friends, etc. — but it's sad to assume the worst from the get go.
Les filles.
J’étais désespérée donc je suis allé me coiffer à Château d’Eau.
@Zaratiel_@lilliangst Well, "I don't care, neither should you," is rarely convinving. It is indeed your prerogative to accept it for yourself, but it's also no surprise ppl find it difficult to "just have fun", when irl colorism is reiterated online by giving their skintones mostly to enemies.
@Oigoooigo @Goodlacker123 @GenshinUniverse Yeah, but the reason HSR gets away with it is because there's no expectation — there's no Africa/South America inspired planet, so no one's feeling personally disrespected.
@PSwitchBreak@cloudrecesses_@cawiechan This is gacha, i.e. pretty much a character collector game, ofc character appearance/design *is* central to it and that's gonna include skin color. There's no priority to re-evaluate there.
@69ayashi@4dango_the2nd Now, why wouldn't they ? Supposedly they are disappointed — how are they ever gonna see change if they just stay silent about it?
@tess_tipton@NiceTshimitYou Well, it's one or the other.
Either it *is* a compliment, and so it's not mean of her to say it back ; or it isn't, and then she was right not to let that slide. Your pick.
@EvanescentOne Esp when siblings fighting is not a rare occurence, even in otherwise healthy families.
The parents knew something alright but were busy + got the cause wrong and assumed it was insecurity on her part (Mirabel does complain to them, but she leads with how perfect Isa is so)
@EvanescentOne If you mean when she flies in with the flowers to calm Pepa down, every1 around is busy and she's keeping her own expression pleasant. Atp everyone sincerely believes Isa is perfect, so why and what would they go and tell Julietta who is already busy cooking to heal them all?
