@MechanicalForce Caw let her head throw back with an exasperated, and dramatic groan. Moments later, she was climbing out of the engine room and heading back up to the cockpit.
"You're lucky you're good at your job you know!" she called back toward the mechanic.
"Because you are a real pain///
@MechanicalForce "Funds aren't the issue." she muttered, "It's time. It takes too long to do those kind of alterations you know." of course he knew, he was the one who maintained the damn thing.
"Ugh, I'll see what we can do."
@MechanicalForce "Yes. I know. We'll have to make port /somewhere/. Need to resupply anyway I suppose." a heavy sigh lifted from her chest and she rolled her eyes.
"I really need to just... replace about 80% of this all."
@MechanicalForce Caw grumbled, these damn conversion modules were great...
For the short term. But /karking hell/ were they ever obnoxious in the long term. She yanked the old one off, growling at it a bit as though it would somehow understand her annoyance. She then tossed it into a bin. //
@MechanicalForce "You didn't hear it?" she groaned, wondering if maybe her thoughts were running away with her again.
She moved about, looking toward what he was putting together... no that wasn't it.
It wasn't long before she dropped down, poking her head around a few things before she began//
"Oh...that was -not- the sound of what I think it was?" Caw called out to @MechanicalForce over the com, agitation in her voice. She was bolting down the halls of her ship; dropping down into the engine room; dropping off the com.
"Because I will -not- be okay with it."
@LooseDealings "I don't hate any side, Dain. I just do the work and I prefer that my own weapons don't try to kill me in the process." her eyes rolled as she leaned against the wall.
"So let's try to keep... -any side-... from causing further trouble then?"
@LooseDealings "Most of it was skill, the fact that the weapons didn't explode this time was a bonus, Dain. Let's keep that up from this point on, hmm?"
@RupturedLight "Oh, the great Kylo Ren of the First Order lost a mere smuggler?" her tone was dipped in saccharine sweet tones that were meant to highlight exactly how novel she found it.
"I am /shocked/." Caw mocked openly.
"I'm, however, afraid you're coming to the wrong Hunter, Knight."
@LucentVulpine Animals were the worst. Mostly those that weren't birds. Speaking of, her own pet dropped down from the air, landing on her shoulder. The dark feathered bird turning it's attention to the yappy creature down below.
It let out a loud, angry squawk at Blitzen.
@LucentVulpine If she'd known what he was thinking, she would have had to question it. Given it was the Vulptex that came to her and started yapping.
However she didn't read Vulptex thoughts and instead gave a snort as he yapped again.
"Enough of that now."
@LucentVulpine Well that had to count for something, at least.
"Don't know what your problem is pup, but I am really in no mood for dealing with someone's lost pet."
@LucentVulpine What the hell was this things problem? Caw placed her hands on her hips, tilting her head back slightly.
"Go. Away." she said slowly, making sure it got the words. Hopefully it understood basic.
@LucentVulpine The woman's lips pressed into a thin line as the loud, rather obnoxious yapping began behind her. Slowly she turned on her heel, glancing down at the, clearly agitated, creature.
"... Shoo." she motioned with her hand for it to go away.
@RupturedLight “And here we go again. First point? Not a smuggler. Price goes up for that. Second of all? From what I hear, your last little run in with a smuggler didn’t end so well. Stop wasting my time. What do you want?” Caw spat out her words as though they left a bad taste in her mouth.
@RupturedLight "Thanks but I prefer not to be dragged into the same level as others. Now, you're the one who walked up and gave grief. So do kindly, how's a nice way to put this?" the woman paused, sizing up the tall man.
"Shut it." she waved her hand in his direction, a dismissive gesture.
