When people die, crying and recording yourself crying is not necessarily the best way to mourn the dead. Sometimes, it comes across as if you are more interested in showing the world how much you are grieving than in genuinely mourning the person you have lost.
Grief is personal, and everyone has their own way of expressing it. However, not every emotion needs to be recorded and displayed on social media. Sometimes, the most sincere tears are the ones nobody sees, and the deepest pain is the one you carry quietly in your heart.
Mourning the dead is not a performance, and grief is not a competition. You do not have to prove to the world that you are hurting for your pain to be real.
May we learn to honour the dead with genuine love, respect, and prayers rather than turning every moment of grief into content for public consumption.
