Ofelos

Your friendly diabetes companion

[Ofelos @Ofelosltd]

Very soon Ofelos will launch a blood sugar journal, where you can journal your blood sugar readings in a centralised place that will be able to share with your doctor.
Stay tuned 🙈

I’m burning all my tokens to make life easier for people with diabetes.

Been doing so since 2021 with @Ofelosltd through low carbs cookies, and now with all the diabetic diet knowledge will go into diabetic journal and diabetic monitoring.

Sounds boring until you loose your dear ones to diabetes…

Seriously, consider an avocado for an evening snack, your body will be very grateful!

[Ofelos @Ofelosltd]

You dont understand yet, but this is a life changing for many people in Africa!

All these fast foods in Kenya, consumed frequently during the week will significantly rise the chance of diabetes.

But sadly for many people it’s also hereditary, and the point will come when you will have to stab your finger to get a drop of blood 🩸

Continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) enables real-time assessment of glucose trends in individuals with type 2 #diabetes, complementing or replacing fingerstick and HbA1c monitoring.

💡 This JAMA Insights discusses CGM use for type 2 diabetes. https://t.co/hkVMdwbuqp

[Ofelos @Ofelosltd]

@Diabetescouk Intermittent fasting is a great for non diabetic people. People with diabetes might get into hypoglycaemia, if that happens they must break the fast and take something to increase their glucose level.
