Hello queers, missed us? ;)
Well, we missed you too! To make up for our absence we're giving you a lil treat for Pride month.
We sat down with some incredible NB talent to talk about voice acting, animation, & gender.
Check it out!

"#PercyJackson and The Olympians has pulled off a feat of…dare I say it? Mythological proportions....It seems redemption and kleos (Greek for glory) have finally arrived."

Wrote this in 2021: The surprising bonds that link Palestinian, Black and Indigenous liberation movements. It explores how international kinships are changing the fight against oppression and, just maybe, bending the arc of history toward justice. https://t.co/O2jMki6WqV
This deal is incredible in so many ways. But this took my breath away: "In addition to the... writer designated by the Company to make hiring decisions... (hereinafter referred to as the ‘Showrunner’)…” Showrunner is now officially defined in the MBA. AS A WRITER. #WGAStrong
✅Minimum room size.

🚨 WGA has reached a tentative agreement 🚨
After 145 days, the AMPTP finally submitted an acceptable offer.
The strike isn’t over yet. The still agreement needs to be drafted and ratified. But we hope this first step gives writers the protection and compensation they deserve.
"Whenever I ask someone to put me on to a gay show, the queer characters are often white. Which is something I have seen so many times."
For #BisexualVisibilityWeek, we put together a list of 19 Bi+ Characters of Colour from some of our favourite shows!

BREAKING: Marvel Studios’ Visual Effects (VFX) Workers UNANIMOUSLY voted in favor of unionizing with IATSE in a labor board election.
This marks the first time a unit of solely VFX Workers has unionized with IATSE since VFX was pioneered nearly a half-century ago.
Incredibly grateful to be a part of an organization that clearly values and defends the right to fair wages (and other basic rights!) in such a public way.
Actors, animators, artists, crew, and writers pour their souls into their work. They deserve a thriving wage for their labor, as every human does.

In solidarity with those on the picket lines, Off Colour will not cover struck companies until further notice.
Entertainment journalism and criticism are marketing. Our work will not enrich executives who devalue the creatives that make their profits possible. 2/
