The shelter had been working on an expansion project to provide addt'l living space for women in need of a safe place. Building Trades Instructor Hengesbach said when he told his students about the project, they didn't hesitate to help.
Building trades students at Bellamy Creek Correctional recently used their talent to help those in need by constructing 30 cabinets for the Mustard Seed Shelter for women and children in Saginaw.
