BJD President Shri @Naveen_Odisha inaugurated the memorial plaque at the Russian Embassy in New Delhi to commemorate the contribution of legendary #BijuPatnaik in the Stalingrad Operation during WWII.
Welcome the decision of the Union Cabinet to include Caste Enumeration in the forthcoming census. @bjd_odisha has been repeatedly demanding countrywide caste census and removal of 50% cap on reservation. In #Odisha, we also took certain concrete steps in 2023 to enumerate the number of people belonging to different classes to help us in making plans for their development and upliftment. The same objectives would now be met by this decision of the Central Government to conduct a caste-based census.
We in Biju Janata Dal always stand for #SocialJustice, especially for backward classes such as ST, SC and OBC.

Opposing the Motion of Thanks for Hon’ble Governor’s Address in the #Odisha Assembly, the Leader of Opposition Shri @Naveen_Odisha said that Government tried to hide its failures under the success of @bjd_odisha Govt.
He said that Governor’s Address should be the roadmap for development and welfare of the people, but unfortunately political overtones has completely destroyed its sanctity. He criticized that Governor’s Address was only lofty talk, no vision.
