Had the honor of taking a student school contest winner from one of my elementaries on a Ride to School this morning. She assured me that she would never again be in the back of a police vehicle and that someday, she wanted to be driving one. 💙

How Ofc Hernandez & I spent our 1st day of the new school year. Our favorite part of our jobs as SROs is the relationships that we build with our students and staff. The most important part of it is keeping them safe. Joint training days like this are essential to that endeavor.
