She even pulled over on the road to stretch out her hip whilst her rivals disappeared swiftly up the road.

But @SifanHassan, a former refugee who left Ethiopia for the Netherlands as a 15-year-old, did not stop.

In the end, the gruelling two-hour race came down to a sprint in the final few metres.

Against all odds, she grittingly WON the 2023 @LondonMarathon. 🥇

Best yet, she had NEVER raced a marathon before! This was her first.

Incredible. 👏👏👏

In whatever challenge you are facing this week, know that its not about how your start, its about how you FINISH.

The naysayers and doubters as "experienced" as they might be, can say whatever they like but, YOU write your own rules.
