For the students of Bicol University and furthermore the graduating students of College of Business, Economics, and Management.

as BU students regardless of the number of years taken, degree chosen, or other reasons for that matter that if ONE wears the BU Alampay, ALL wears the Alampay or if ONE wears the traditional academic gown, ALL wears the same. No grey areas. No reservations. No questions asked.
Yes, what’s more important is the diploma to be given, not necessarily the graduation rites. But per definition of “equality”, where everyone is given the same opportunities and privileges, we further demand that if not all will be able to wear the BU Alampay,
In addition, if not all will be given the privilege to wear the BU Alampay, we firmly believe that no single student should be given the chance to wear it come the commencement exercises.
We respectfully ask the clear full picture on how these degree programs were ultimately chosen. We have nothing against those courses, for the record, we just want a bird's eye view on the matter on how they were chosen which was not stated in the memo
Had there been a forecast that the production will not cover all the graduates this academic year, the BU Administration should not have disseminated information about this matter, which fuelled more dismay to us, your students.
We would like to respectfully question the choice of only three (3) of all the degree programs offered by the Bicol University to wear the official BU Alampay which was promised to be available this academic year for the use of the said academic garment.
On behalf of the graduating students of Bicol University College of Business, Economics, and Management is highly dismayed by the memorandum issued by the BU Administration regarding the use of the Univ. Alampay this forthcoming 48th University Commencement Exercises this April.
