This weekend we will participate in the Blackburn Legacy Shield alongside Blackburn United, Clydebank and Musselburgh Athletic!

We will play Blackburn United in the second match on Saturday, and will then take on either Musselburgh or Clydebank in the final or third place playoff on Sunday.

We are delighted to announce that Scott Murdoch has joined our backroom staff ahead of the 2026/27 season!

Scott has had coaching stints at Rob Roy and Rossvale, amongst others, but joins us from his most recent role as Assistant Manager at Kilsyth Athletic.

We are sure that Scott will be a great addition to the team and we're confident he will contribute to what is hopefully another successful campaign!

Cumbernauld Colts Football Club is an ambitious and progressive club competing in the Scottish Lowland Football League. As we look to grow both on and off the pitch, we are seeking a driven and entrepreneurial Commercial Manager to help expand our commercial partnerships and revenue streams. As Commercial Manager, you will lead the team's commercial activities
generating vital income through sponsorship, advertising, and partnerships as you work closely with the board and management team.

This is a commission-based position with significant earning potential, ideal for a motivated
individual confident in their ability to deliver results.

Key Responsibilities:
✅Develop and implement a clear commercial strategy for the club
✅Identify, approach, and secure new sponsors and commercial partners
✅Sell sponsorship packages including:
✅First-team and player sponsorship
✅Training and matchday kit sponsorship
✅Match sponsorship and hospitality packages
✅Pitch side advertising boards
✅Build and maintain strong relationships with local and regional businesses
✅Maximise both matchday and non-matchday revenue streams

We welcome applications from those with strong communication and networking skills who are
keen to develop revenue generation for a Lowland League football team.

We are delighted to have been included in the 2026/27 KDM Evolution Trophy!

We will take part in a 40 team league phase, after which the Top 22 will progress and be joined by the SPFL Championship clubs.

The league phase fixtures are due to be confirmed on the 16th July, with play commencing on 11th/12th August.

We can confirm that Angus Paterson has joined West of Scotland Division 2 side Ashfield on loan for the 2026/27 campaign.

Angus was recently promoted from our U20s pathway and we know there is plenty to come from him!

A return to the Kirkintilloch Sports Complex awaits after defeating Rob Roy 2-1 ahead of our last campaign, whilst we will also head to the Purdie Worldwide Stadium to take part in the Blackburn Legacy Shield alongside Blackburn United, Musselburgh Athletic and Clydebank.
