Michael Oliver will not officiate in the Premier League this weekend. Oliver recently celebrated the three year anniversary of his trip to the UAE - one paid for by City's owners, to referee in a league with direct ties to them.
That is a rather odd coincidence, isn't it?
Rihanna is such a year 9 mean girl, sitting there smirking and laughing as pauline nominates but when rob tells her to pipe down suddenly that’s too much and out of line 🙄 #bbuk
i get that people laugh in face to face noms…but that’s when funny stuff happens. this just reeks of the mean popular kids at school thinking they’re above everyone else #bbuk
BREAKING: Manchester City won’t cut links with OKX - its official crypto provider and £55m shirt sponsor owned by Communist Chinese oligarch Mingxing ‘Star’ Xu and endorsed by Hamas - after £400m fine over money laundering for organised crime (via @TheSun) https://t.co/XPtTgfDECa
BREAKING: Manchester City sponsor OKX has been fined almost £400M over money-laundering breaches
Will @ManCity make a statement regarding this scandal?
Big news!
Rhianna has a big habit of having a one on one conversation with someone, then going around telling other people and making something a bigger thing than it is.
She is a very dangerous babe. A lot of the drama that has happened in the house was because she likes to yap
#BBUK
Rhianna has just done exactly what she did with Jedward. Speaking candidly and nicely, and then running out the room back to her boys to gossip about said discussion. I cannot stand this type of behaviour. It’s so incredibly immature #BBUK
Rhianna saying to Lynx to “get Omar out of there now” was so icky…. Don’t worry we already knew what type of person your balding rat of a boyfriend is even before that convo and even if you’ve convinced yourself “he’s got a soft side”!!🤮🤮 #BBUK
Really good explanation of how @ManCity’s cheating cost other @premierleague clubs dearly, in this case @AstonVilla & @Everton. Only demotion to a low league will fit the crime. Like @RangersFC suffered in Scotland. Or @juventusfc in Italy. https://t.co/CTcYrfQ4Uw
Imagine PL referees flying to America for a lucrative one-off game, then finding out their fee came from a company owned or controlled by John Henry.
Then in their first game back in the PL a few days later they give the worst VAR decision of all time…against a rival team.
MP that.
People that think UAE can do anything, don’t understand what football means in the UK.
The Premier League generates ~£10B per year. Pays ~£4.4B in tax every year. Supports ~110,000 full time jobs.
1.9 billion people watch the PL every year, more than any sport itw.
When Hicks and Gillett put LFC in serious danger we didn't blame other clubs and how they were able to do things... we blamed our owners. So why are City fans angry at everyone but their owners? Who agreed to the rules that they broke that have put the club in serious danger
I stopped watching F1 after Hamilton was cheated of a world title. When it stops becoming a fair sport then there is no integrity and no point in watching anymore. The future of the premier league is on the line.
People keep saying "The EPL found City guilty." It didn't. An INDEPENDENT commission did, three members chaired by a KC, appointed through the same judicial system City themselves used to beat the League over sponsorship rules.
The League only brought the case.
City agreed to this process.
They just didn't expect to lose it.
"Lance could have co-operated. His choice not to was more calamitous for him than the decision to dope in the first place."
@DavidWalshST says that by refusing to admit wrongdoing, like Armstrong, Manchester City are hurting themselves more than they realise 🔽 https://t.co/K9EHGj7jGN
