>>Scope: It features a 10-lane carriageway (five lanes on each side) spanning from King Square to the Benin bypass to ensure smooth traffic flow.

Additionally, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's administration is currently executing the reconstruction of over 70 federal highways and strategic road projects simultaneously. These developments cover all 36 states, including major legacy highway corridors, regional superhighways, and targeted bridge reconstructions.

Some of the key linking roads currently undergoing reconstruction include:

- Abuja–Kaduna–Zaria–Kano Dual Carriageway (350km).

- Kano–Kongolam Road (132km).

- Ibadan–Ife–Ilesa Road (103km).

- Sokoto–Gusau–Funtau–Zaria Road (275km).

- Enugu–Port Harcourt Expressway (56km).

- Benin–Asaba Superhighway (125km).

- Keffi–Nasarawa–Toto–Abaji Road Phase II (129.3km).
