Arsenal finished 8th back to back, were struggling to even qualify for the Europe league & we’re the biggest laughing stock

Today, they are the defending PL champions, reached a champions league final & are a top 3 in the world

That’s why I still believe that Manchester United will rise again one day

The pain will make the success sweeter in the end.

Mikel Arteta reflects on the 2-2 draw with Bayern:

"I would take the draw. That doesn't mean that we are very happy about it because we prepared and came here to win the game. You could see that right from the beginning, the mindset, the purpose and the intentions that the team had to be very dominant, to come here and cause problems to Bayern, to press them, to attack them. And that's certainly what we've done.

"I think we were the better team the first 20, 25 minutes, scored the goal. Unfortunately, we got the injury of Bukayo, which was a big setback. Ebs comes in and the team remains in the same way, but the margins are so small. You get something wrong after the corner, we just miss a pair, and in 2 passes they are in front of goal. In another one, you miss the shape in the throw-in and Harry Kane can put the ball 30 metres on the floor between a space that doesn't exist. And that's the level.

"And after that, 2 teams that want to press each other, that want to attack, that constantly are very, very alive to hurt the opponent. And yeah, we went down. The team showed an incredible composure, spirit to keep going, to attack them. The finishers came in and made an impact as well. And after scoring the goal, you see the reaction of the team. We wanted to take the ball and go and attack them again to come and win the game.

"And I think that tells a lot about the team, especially looking back in the last 2 or 3 years, all the teams that they have come here, the manner that they've been battered. So I know the opponent that we have played, the players and the coach. That's where I think I have to give a big credit to our team and our players."

Europe’s big four delivered a beautiful display of attacking football! Arsenal, PSG, Barcelona and Bayern showed exactly why they’re the best in Europe. See one of you in the Champions League final. Arsenal will be waiting! 💪❤️🤍

🚨 Rice “ He ( Gyökeres ) has been making such an impact. Set me up for the goal. Noni & Vik quick touch and I am through on goal.

Its the mentality of this team. Its what the manager has drilled into us. We didnt come here for a draw. Onto the next”.

Premier league players are total idiots.
Every single one of them who voted that guy for PFA player of the year.
Declan Rice was miles ahead of that guy.

[Bada By Far! @BadaAkintundeJ]

“Boring” Arsenal had 58% possession away at almighty Bayern Munich, scoring 2 well worked goals from open play, getting 5 shots on target and hitting 14 shots at Bayern’s goal overall. Give your heads a wobble you hating clowns! This Arsenal team plays what the occasion demands. The best team in Europe out of possession by far and not far behind the best teams in possession. Just still lacking a few speedster killers in attack. Mikel has built a team that defies stupid narratives and makes their owners look foolish.

Arteta beat Real Madrid 5-1, pushed PSG to penalties and drew 2-2 away at Bayern Munich. Whatever your opinion of him, the man has my respect. 👏❤️

We miss Saliba a whole lot. He’s different levels when it comes to cover and one on one

Considering we’re labelled the ‘unwatchables’, we’ve scored some beautiful goals this season.

Declan Rice and Eberechi Eze tonight.

Bruno Guimaraes against Sunderland and Leeds.

Riccardo Calafiori against Manchester City.

Martin Ødegaard against Manchester City and Chelsea.

I’m entertained.

🚨 Arteta “ Wow, what a game. One of the highest levels we have played.

( Regarding Saka ) They are a bit concerned. A player that has to come off with a really sharp pain is never a good sign”
