I agree with @JohnCena doing the job on his way out, but I didn’t like it via tap. Twenty three years of preaching “never give up” and in his final dance he did just that. On the surface it doesn’t seem like a big deal but that “never give up” fueled so many thru hard times.

Whether it was an illness, a loss, etc people literally took that to heart and it inspired them to keep going. The ending via tap can be taken a few ways but I believe some will take it “it’s okay to give up.” I think having him lose by passing out would have been better.
