Respected @hydcitypolice . I'm a resident of Aparna One, Shaikpet. For the last few days the Hanuman temple at Vinobha Nagar is playing loud music, beyond allowed decibels till night 2/3am. I complained the Film Nagar PS.

They asked us to bear till 25th Sept as its Ganesh nimmajanam. The festival is done but the loud music doesn't stop. Many elders, children and working ppl in our society and disturbed by it and made many complaints in the past. But no action was taken. Request you to please look into it. Thank you..

In Dec'22, her husband ‘accidentally’ opened the emergency exit of a plane while it was still on the runway.

All passengers had to be deboarded, engineering checks and re-pressurization procedures were conducted.

శ్రీనివాస్ గౌడ్ హోమ్ టూర్ చేయించిన ఇల్లు శ్రీ ఆదిత్య రిజర్వ్ విల్లాస్ అనే విల్లా కమ్యూనిటిలో ఉంటుందని నెటిజన్లు గుర్తించారు.

డబుల్ బెడ్‌రూమ్ ఇళ్లు, రేషన్ కార్డుల కోసం దశాబ్దాలుగా నిరీక్షిస్తున్న సామాన్య తెలంగాణ పౌరుడికి.. ఉద్యమ నేపథ్యం నుండి వచ్చిన నేత కొద్దికాలంలోనే సాధించిన ఈ ఊహించని ధనార్జన, ఐశ్వర్య ప్రదర్శన తీవ్ర ఆగ్రహాన్ని తెప్పించడం సహజమే.

The video from Jamui, Bihar is deeply disturbing.

Two Class 10 students were stopped on a road. Harassed. Humiliated. Molested. A young girl, hands folded, begged to be let go while goons groped her and dragged her away.

Who gave these men the right to behave like this? This is not "culture." It is patriarchy: the belief that any man can police a girl's body, her movement, her choices.

When control is mistaken for culture, and such attitudes are normalised by Andhbhakts, mobs start believing they are the law.

Every individual in that video must be identified and prosecuted under POCSO, and justice must be swift. And if the incident happened on September 19th, why are the culprits not behind bars yet?

And the Bihar government must answer why a girl is not safe on a public road at 7 pm?

बिहार के जमुई का एक वीडियो बहुत बेचैन करने वाला है।

10वीं क्लास के एक छात्र और छात्रा को रास्ते में जबरदस्ती रोक लिया गया। उन्हें प्रताड़ित किया गया, अपमानित किया गया और छात्रा के साथ उत्पीड़न किया गया। बच्ची हाथ जोड़कर उसे जाने देने की विनती करती रही, मगर गुंडे उसे गलत तरीके से छूते और खींचतान करते रहे।

इन लोगों को ऐसी बदतमीज़ी करने का हक किसने दिया? यह "संस्कृति" नहीं है, यह patriarchy है: ये सोच कि किसी भी पुरुष का किसी लड़की के शरीर, उसके आने-जाने और उसकी पसंद-नापसंद पर नियंत्रण है।

जब नियंत्रण को ही संस्कृति मान कर 'अंधभक्त' ऐसी सोच को सामान्य ठहराते हैं, तो भीड़ को लगने लगता है कि वही कानून है।

उस वीडियो में दिख रहे हर व्यक्ति की पहचान होनी चाहिए और उन अपराधियों पर POCSO के तहत मुकदमा चलाकर उन्हें जल्द से जल्द सजा मिलनी चाहिए। और अगर ये घटना 19 सितंबर की है तो गुनहगार अब तक सलाखों के पीछे क्यों नहीं हैं?

और बिहार सरकार जवाब दे कि शाम 7 बजे कोई लड़की राज्य की सड़कों पर सुरक्षित क्यों नहीं है?

did my https://t.co/zANOEvvHvH at IIT Bombay and my PhD at IIT Delhi. I've been a professor for 14 years now. In 22 years of watching the IIT/IIIT system closely, I have never once witnessed a teacher discriminate against a student on the basis of caste.

During my https://t.co/zANOEvvHvH, most of us had no idea what caste our batchmates belonged to. Many of my close friends were SC/ST. We never discussed it. It never entered any conversation or decision. Not once. Our exposure to the humanities department was limited, though — the term "Brahmanical patriarchy" didn't even exist back then.

As a teacher, I don't ask a student's name before solving their doubt. Often I don't know their name at all — some of my classes have 300+ students. We treat them all the same. So does every colleague I know. So did every professor who taught me.

Social media has now filled vulnerable students' heads with a lot of manufactured grievance about caste discrimination that, in my experience, doesn't exist.

A professor who completed his studies in the USA and rose through merit decided to return to India and serve his country as a professor at IIT Bombay. He resigned from his position simply because he stopped a student from cheating, after which the student died by suicide. An SC/ST Act case has also been filed against him. That’s the state of education in this country.
