@charmingsfuture + the redhead tightened her coat around her self and folded her arms, shivering a little.
"I stick out like a sore thumb here. . .and I suppose you felt like that back then?" A small, simper of a smile.
This was more than just work. It was getting personal.

A heavy sigh left her lips and she cut the man next to her off rather sharply.
"Simons. Go back to the car. . Now." He halts, looking at her for a moment, as if debating arguing with her but he seemingly thought better of it and ceased --

A glance over to her now absent partner, shifting uncomfortably.
"My looking into them instead of the sons has made me a few enemies. . .I need to have something big. Something to prove that it's. . . organised, laundering. . . Anything."+

"His lawyers are shit hot, we have evidence on his cohorts, but not him. I need some help needling through his business--

"We aren't here because of your husband. Or any of his. . . friends. I'm here to ask about some legal advice. . ."
-- his rather crude line of questioning and loitered off, muttering to himself bitterly.
"Forgive my partner's rather ostentatious lack of manners, he's a neanderthal but he means no harm." A small simper touches her lips, and she takes a step back, only wanting to respect--
Lighting her cigarette, she mused quietly and blew out a plume of smoke, coughing lightly. Shaking her head a little, she ashed it and scrunched up her nose again.
"I really should stop, but quitting is the hardest, I guess. " Another glance around, as if she was looking for--

"Well, it has put me on edge. That much I can tell you, it gets pretty tiring having to watch your back all the time, but it's an occupational hazard according to my bosses."
Taking another long draw of her cigarette, she returned the lighter.
"I'm--
-- can't make a move because of the lawyers. Because it's not gang affiliated, I shouldn't be investigating. . ."
Taking a cigarette out, she hugged quietly and began her search for a lighter.
"I don't want any strings pulled. Being FBI makes me a target enough as it is."
Anna huffed quietly and rummaged in her pocket, pulling out a packet of cigarettes.
