In Michigan, A Jewish voice for veterans and a veteran's voice for Jews.
At Machpelah Cemetery, I saw a woman flagging a grave. I asked if the deceased was a veteran. She said he had been in the military, but had never joined JWV. Let's clear this up right now. JWV wants the grave of every Jewish veteran to have a flag. Membership Not Required.
Each year JWV Michigan flags graves of veterans in local Jewish cemeteries.
If your veteran's grave was flagged by us last year, then you don't have to do anything - we keep those records. However, if your veteran did NOT receive a flag last year, go to: https://t.co/kww3dKG9TB.
