Born to be a lover girl, forced to be a hater.

[H. @Oftenwanders]

@ContraPoints Natalie do you even know how language works? If a friend tells you, “my bf broke my arm, gave me a concussion, knocked out 3 teeth, & also killed 1 of my cats” and you say “omg I’m so relieved it wasn’t worse” because you thought he would kill her, you’re speaking like an idiot.

[H. @Oftenwanders]

@Richard_Vixen Yes, I know, I get that. But I just don’t look at her and see a hot girl. Personally. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Let's be very clear. Amy Acton's birth mother hasn't been in her life for 48 years. So when the birth mother calls Amy a liar, she's calling the 12 year-old child who was raped by her stepfather a liar. Ramaswami has reached a new disgusting low, even for Republicans.

[H. @Oftenwanders]

@capybaroness I had an actual pit in my stomach. It was such a disturbing thought that it affects me more than any horror film.

[H. @Oftenwanders]

@AGoldmund That’s how you win at therapy.

[H. @Oftenwanders]

@pugsyunknown @angeIfxck Yeah this is completely unsurprising.

[H. @Oftenwanders]

@1000dollarcrab This blows the Try Guys Ned situation out of the water because I genuinely liked Ariel and felt so horrible for her. In this situation I can purely enjoy the spectacle of these awful people nuking their lives. Inject this into my veins!!

[H. @Oftenwanders]

@AkilahObviously Tyler Cowen is also the guy who was in raptures over a teenage AI avatar.

[H. @Oftenwanders]

@Zarathak23 @Narshh My theater did cheer her. 😂

[H. @Oftenwanders]

@harman_yy @thelebronaron @qtcinderella Yeah, 15 minutes should absolutely not wreck a timeline. Most timelines automatically should have 10-15 minute buffers already added in for padding just for these kinds of delays. Im guessing Emily was actually later than 15 minutes. And the coordinator should not have waited.

[H. @Oftenwanders]

@thelebronaron @harman_yy @qtcinderella How long have you been in the industry? 15 minutes is absolutely not make or break. It will shorten the cocktail hour sure, and compress the family photos/B&G portraits but not by a crazy amount. Plus, every good planner knows to build in buffer time. I bet it was more than 15min

[H. @Oftenwanders]

@VeraSweetVera64 @paladinmoder So she cluelessly lied about military contracts that didn’t exist. Cluelessly lied when she took logos of major pharmaceutical companies like Pfizer and forged lab reports and documents. She literally admitted to this during her trial.

[H. @Oftenwanders]

@VeraSweetVera64 @paladinmoder You can read for yourself the things that came out during her trial. She was very much the driver. Even in her text messages with Sunny Balwani where he expressed caution and concern over their product, she dismissed it all and said all sorts of megalomaniac things.

[H. @Oftenwanders]

@VeraSweetVera64 @paladinmoder You would think this if you haven’t actually read up on her at all. Just read Bad Blood. Or look into how relentlessly she went after journalists, how when a Theranos employee was driven to suicide she IMMEDIATELY went after his widow threatening her with litigation.

[H. @Oftenwanders]

@realizingerin Nathan Fielder, Lance Oppenheim and A24 were resistant to the idea that the product would be a Elizabeth Holmes Product in the same way that you can buy the Beyoncé documentary (Life is But a Dream) as a Beyoncé DVD from her catalog of products.

[H. @Oftenwanders]

@realizingerin You absolutely can profit off your own documentary if you are the ones producing it. This is how Taylor Swift, BTS, Noah Kahan all have their own documentaries. But this would have required Holmes to put together the whole production herself which they seemingly couldn’t manage.

[H. @Oftenwanders]

@realizingerin So if another crew comes in and wants to create their own product as a documentary, but then the subjects say, well we want a cut of the profits. It would shift that product from one thing to another. Everyone understands the Taylor Swift “documentary” is a Taylor Swift product.

[H. @Oftenwanders]

@qtcinderella This was poor coordinating on the coordinator’s end. They should have had the full guest list and been aware of whether it was a vital family member missing or not. It would take 5 minutes to figure it out. ESPECIALLY a small ceremony. And you don’t make it the bride’s problem.

[H. @Oftenwanders]

@SacredWall @heydudemeg I don’t think a miss on Best Documentary would be a snub, I actually am weighing how ethical it would even be for them to submit for Best Documentary when they haven’t disclosed how much was scripted and how much wasn’t. I don’t know if they should disclose and ruin the ambuguity
