As the boy entered coordinates, the display of Noir's watch lights up red, and plays an audio with some familiar voice.
„ Is that thing on? What does that red dot mean? Oh, it's on! Ahem.
Hey Miles. It's me, Noir! I know what —
— you may think. The whole plan is a bit messy, but you shouldn't worry, I have a ba-ba-backu-”
The audio started to glitch, but fixed after a few moments.
„ Peni, could you please fix it? Ah, the time, yeah. . . so, I have a backup plan. Better hurry —
— ( Peter vety swiftly pushed Miles in the portal with his elbow, throwing his watch to the other, so it ends in the boy's hands. )
Go and find your universe, I'll take it from here!
( Only thing he got time to say, before the portal closes. )
( Taking a quick breath, he shoots at the attacker, more to avert the attention from Miles to himself.
Noir swiftly moves the boy behind him, as the portal opened behind them both. )
Ya helped me, kid, now it's my turn. —
Ugh. . . I'm sorry that I made you, uh, worried.
( Noir hugs Miles a little closer, but he still looks around. Even with the spider—sence, he was a little worried if Miguel will try ti attack his friend. )
. . . and thanks for, you know. . .
Ough—
( He is a bit confused, but he wraps one arm around the other's shoulders. Even if he trusted Miles, Noir thought that he won't really have time to shot the web himself.
Guess he'll have to buy a lottery ticket. )
Hey, I'm here, all safe.
( To be honest, Noir hardly knew where exactly Miles ended up, and was rather lucky to notice the number of the universe on Miguel's watch.
And what he didn't knew at all that a single slash could knock him from his feet. ) —
Oh please, I'm not some kind of coward.
( Lightly nudging the other with his knuckle. )
Don't ge me wrong, to be careful is not that bad, especially. . . now.
Rolls his eyes. “Especially around ya. Ya know too much bout me now, gotta keep my guard up to make sure I made the right choice.”
Shrugging his shoulder. “I get ya partner. As long as yer alright is all.”
Tch, really, even around me?
( He smirked, looking to the side. )
I mean, crimes n' some paperwork are pretty ordinary for me, so I don't know if it really interest ya, pal.
“I know, I know. Yer one of the few in these vast worlds that I do trust.” Not that he doesn’t trust the other spider-folks, but he and noir had something special between them that he may not have talked about but was certainly there.
“Enough bout me, how was yer day—?”
( He glances at Widow, then back at the other man, rising an eyebrow under the mask.
Well, Noir himself felt that's something wasn't entirely clear. )
Come on, ya can trust me, you know that, buddy.
“Nothin’ outta the ordinary I reckon…” He whispered, widow the spider-horse slowly walking up and looking at Noir while shaking his head to ensure that ponderosa wasn’t being entirely honest. “Ah, I should be fine. But I appreciate it.”
https://t.co/AGzUyKiqPL sometimes I feel genuinely shitty because don't get any interactions or so, and most of bandwagons instead of "like for my muse to...." aren't getting anything at all
maybe I'm really a bad writer or something.
