no, my opinion would remain the same 100%. Only difference would be how the media portrays it.
Race isn't a factor.
Explain this case to a blind person completely leaving names, and colors out. I would bet my life savings that person would agree the names, and colors are not details required for this conviction.
Murder is murder. They could have fought with fists, and both would still be alive, neither would be going to prison.
@ChrissieMayr Or people realize he murdered a kid in cold blood with 0 remorse... That's possible isn't it? Personally I think life in prison is a soft punishment. He deserves the same dish he served.
The value of an autograph is subjective, not objective.
The price is determined by the one who is selling it. Value is determined by those willing to pay for it.
If Paige is currently selling his for that cost, then people have determined its value is worth that much.
With that being said the market is always changing. People may determine at a later date that an autograph is worth significantly more, or less. That's why it's best to only pay what price you are comfortable with, and be ok if you miss out.
If that's the case then why does THIS statistic appear? Do you have an increase in jobs due to all the people fleeing from your reign of terror? All of their jobs have become available?
I keep meeting people from california in thr midwest... they're here because of YOU and WE don't want THEM because they continue voting for people like YOU.
At this point, who cares what others think.
You do you boo.
Everyone will hate you regardless of what you choose to do just due to the simple fact it's not THEIR sealed product.
I've gone digital to play since I got priced out a long time ago. Will still attempt to attend pre-release tournaments though.
@XavierBecerra Anyone in the entire world can vote in our elections in California.
Are you from Germany, Russia, Ukraine, China, Iraq, etc...?
Don't worry, in California your voice WILL be heard!!!
This state is fucking pathetic. This has NOTHING TO DO WITH TRUMP.
From that perspective Pokémon cards are worthless as well. They're just shiny cardboard that has been printed literally billions of times over.
Collectors are all different, with different perspectives, different goals, and completely different collections.
So, excuse me for completely disregarding your opinion.
If that was the case why would he trade down for a 50% loss? Aren't vendors in it to make money, not lose money? Isn't that why they only accept trade in values between 70-85%?
Seems like cancel culture to me.
Jason does seem like an airhead with a gigantic ego, but he also seems genuine about not screwing over children.
That autographed card could go up to be worth thousands of dollars once Jason passes away, and can no longer recreate his autograph on any new documentation.
I'd happily give him $100 to autograph one of my classic Pokémon VHS cases... Hell I'd pay an extra $100 for a poloroid picture with him standing next to me holding the case he just signed!
That's what collectors do at cons... We find celebrities that we enjoyed their work, we talk to them shortly, we get their autographs, and we PAY to do it because time is money. We pay to show appreciation for them coming to the con in the first place.
How am I seeking a witch hunt? Please enlighten me.
By saying "don't support rip n ships?" Because I hate to inform you, but they are a primary reason for this.
Not only are they buying everything at MSRP they can find, but they also DIRECTLY support scalping by purchasing large quantities of sealed from the 2nd market. They mark it up during streams to make up for the price they pay.
This is obviously how a business is ran, the problem is how many people have decided to do this due to its ease.
Besides, this all started back in Covid, got better for awhile, then got exponentially worse with surging sparks. Covid made people realize there were way easier ways to make money with out needing to work 8 hours a day.
Covid was the great reset of society. People lost jobs, and had to find other ways to make money. Once covid ended nobody wanted to actually go back to a real job.
I'm not misinformed at all, you're just failing to piece together the full puzzle.
I'm blaming the majority which is an obvious statistic. This issue has been going on for almost 3 years now. We should all be very well aware of the cause by this point.
You, and I would just be anecdotal...
I'm sure I have supported scalpers plenty of times though since I buy singles on TCGPlayer to build decks with/collect. I haven't seen a single pack of Ascended Heroes IRL yet.
To be completely fair, it's practically impossible at this point to NOT support them in one way or another.
However, those who get defensive are typically the ones with the most dirt to hide... Just sayin'...
